Challenges & Solution
Samsung Card, one of South Korea's largest credit card brands, inquired the bread and butter to plan their digital marketing promotion to increase customers' engagement with its digital channels such as Instagram, application, website, and Facebook.
In order to draw customers' attraction and attention to Samsung Card Instagram (@withsamsungcard), we named the promotion as 'Follow Follow Me.' The English word 'me' has the same pronunciation as the Sino-Korean of rice (미 [mee] 米). As a result, we decided to have a promotional item as a rice pack, collaborating with a premium rice brand in South Korea.

A humorous but motivational phrase such as "do not eat alone," "eat three meals a day," and "eat nutritional meals" on rice pack successfully appealed to the millennials that enjoy a single-lifestyle (one-person household).

'Follow Follow Me' promotion was launched on March 31st, 2020, on Samsung Card Instagram On the launch, the post questioned the followers about who they want to have lunch (rice pack) with, initiating call-to-action.
